Telios Team Achievement Award:
When Tunch and Wolf kicked off their sports talk radio show on September 10, 2004 they were committed to celebrating the good in sports. And, to demonstrate that fact, they wanted to recognize outstanding men and women in the Pittsburgh region who strive to be all that they can be in body, mind and spirit - athletically, academically and through their involvement in the community.
In Greek, the word is Telios. Telios refers to something being completed, brought to its full purpose, potential and intended vocation. "Telios" or "perfect" people are those who fulfill their goals and by using their talents to the best of their ability and strive for perfection as an ideal…an attainable ideal. Perfection may be unattainable in this imperfect world however, it should be a goal to attempt to achieve.
